GETTING STARTED

A small moment
in the school day.

Use Zoo Zen for a classroom movement break, a transition or a supported session. Keep it flexible and follow the pupil’s individual plan.

  1. 01

    Get comfortable

Choose a suitable space and begin with the warm-up.

  2. 02

    Explore an animal

Choose one activity together. Model it and offer a seated or supported version where appropriate.

  3. 03

    Pause and notice

Ask how it felt. Observe the response and give time to settle before the next part of the day.

Choice and comfort come first. These resources are for supervised educational use. Follow the pupil’s support plan and setting risk assessment. Offer alternatives, allow pupils to watch or opt out, and stop if an activity causes discomfort or distress.
